Zohre Ahmadi – Bachelor of Commerce Burwood
My name is Zohre Ahmadi, and I come from Afghanistan. Growing up, I faced numerous challenges due to the lack of financial education within my family. My parents, who did not have the opportunity to receive formal education, struggled with managing financial matters. Witnessing their financial stress and taking on the responsibility of helping them manage finances inspired me to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning. My goal is to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to guide and support others in achieving financial stability and independence.
I chose to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Financial Planning because of my deep desire to achieve financial literacy and to empower others with the same knowledge. I witnessed firsthand the challenges that arise from a lack of financial education. My parents, who did not have the opportunity to receive a formal education, struggled with financial stress. As I took on the responsibility of helping my family manage financial matters, I realised the significant impact that proper financial planning can have on individuals and families. This personal experience ignited my passion for financial planning and motivated me to pursue this degree. I am committed to guiding and supporting others in their financial journeys, helping them to make informed decisions and achieve financial stability.
Receiving this scholarship will significantly impact my educational journey and future career. With this financial support, I will be able to focus more on my studies and less on the burden of tuition fees and living expenses.This will enable me to excel academically and take advantage of additional learning opportunities, such as internships and networking events, which are crucial for my professional development. The scholarship will also provide me with the peace of mind and financial stability to engage more deeply in extracurricular activities and leadership roles within the university.

I’m feel so grateful to be to assist Zohre in completing her education to her pathway to becoming a financial adviser.
